Read books, earn tickets, and win prizes!
We have prizes, programs, and crafts for ALL AGES, from babies to adults. All library programs are free and open to everyone!
Starting May 30, register at the library or online at ReadSquared. Track your reading with your reading log, and show a librarian to redeem your tickets. Put your tickets towards the prizes you'd like to win!
Prizes will be drawn at the end of the program, so make sure you enter all your tickets by July 11 at 2pm!

When can I register?
Registration doesn't officially begin until the Summer Reading Kickoff on Saturday, May 30. Register on kickoff day for a chance to win a Family Pass to the Ada Pool, courtesy of the Friends of the Ada Public Library!
If you can't make it to the Kickoff, register early at the library to be entered into the Family Pool Pass drawing!
After the Kickoff, you can register at the library or on ReadSquared at any point before Summer Reading ends on Saturday, July 11.
Who can join?
Everyone! We have prizes and programs for babies, children, teens, and adults.
How do I track my reading?
We have paper reading logs available at the library, or you can to track your reading online with ReadSquared (website or mobile app). Choose whatever works best for you!
Paper Reading Logs – Reading logs are available at the library at the front desk. Adults will get tickets when they check out, so they don't need to use a reading log.
Online (ReadSquared) – Use our online reading tracker at ReadSquared or download the ReadSquared mobile app.
What materials count toward Summer Reading?
Books, audio books (books on CD, Libby, or Playaways), and graphic novels are all acceptable materials. No magazines!
All materials must be checked out at the Ada Public Library on an Ada Public Library Card.
How do I earn tickets?
Track your reading with your reading log or online with ReadSquared, then show a librarian to get your tickets. Participating adults will get tickets when checking out, no reading log necessary.
What do I do with my tickets?
See something you want to win? Put your tickets into that prize's can. Make sure you enter your tickets for prizes from your age group or for the Family Prizes.
Children – Any of the prizes in the children's area, or the Family Prizes located at the front of the library
Tweens – Choose from the prizes in the children's area or the teen prizes at the front of the library
Teens and Adults – Prizes are located at the front of the library
Family – All ages can put their tickets in for the Family prizes, which are located at the front of the library.

How do I win prizes?
To qualify for a prize, you must READ to earn tickets. Then, put your tickets towards prizes from your age group or for the Family Prizes. Winners will be drawn after Summer Reading ends, and we'll notify you if you won!
