Your Library Card

A library card is needed in order to check out material.  Anyone three years old or older may sign up for a card.  Children under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign their application.  Proof of current address is required. 

Loan Periods

All materials are checked out for 21 days except for DVDs, VHS tapes, and magazines.  These circulate for a period of 7 days. 

All items may be renewed (in person or via telephone or on-line) once except for materials that have been requested by another patron. 

Interlibrary Loans

For books that this library does not have in its collection, the Library participates in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Library (SEO) Consortium of libraries that extends across Ohio.  The consortium consists of almost 70 public libraries and allows our patrons to access over 5.5 million items.

Overdue Charges

A fine of 10 cents per day per item is charged for overdue books and magazines.  Audio cassettes, audiobooks, and CDs are charged 25 cents per day. VHS and DVD fines are 50 cents per day.

Overdue materials obtained through interlibrary loans will be fined according to the schedule of the lending library.  

Community Meeting Room

The library's meeting room can host up to 35 people and has ready access to a kitchenette.  The library does not charge for this service.  Contact us for more information regarding guidelines and reservation forms.
